Analyzing The Following Compound Risk Unstable...

Many risks are interrelated. Analyze the following compound risk: Unstable requirements with tight budget will likely cancel the project. Discuss the dependencies that exist between the two risks. Communication is an important part of our everyday lives. Without communications skills, it is extremely difficult to preform many simple tasks. With one person describing to another the function to perform, there needs to be clear description of the task at hand. When dealing with software projects, it is imperative that the end user convey their requirements of the software to the developer. Effective communication skills need to be used in order for a software project to be successful. A lack of communication to define a software project will not only doom the project but quickly increase the project budget due to misunderstandings and rework. Many reasons exist for the extremely high failure rates of software projects but one major reason is poor communication between the end-user and the software developer which leads to a lack of definition or scope of work. One resolution to this problem is a well communicated document similar to a Software Requirements Specification (SRS). I used to belong to a discussion group that dealt with automation issues. The topic of software project failure and its causes was a constant topic of discussion.
